I've been a fan of Unearthen jewelry for a long time. Before I even met Gia, I was in love with the beautiful crystals set in bullet casings. When I worked at LD Tuttle we shared a studio with Unearthen and some other cool creative people in downtown LA. It was a very sweet work environment to say the least. This collection is still about raw crystals and simple settings but the pieces are bigger and badder- boulders on the wrist and many stones on the neck. The lookbook- like the jewels themselves- communicates a feeling without words or literal symbols. Gia's pieces are magical for sure.
My old pal and hairbraiding model Nina makes an appearance though her face is hidden. This look book is beautiful but it makes me miss LA.

To quell that sadness I'll be doing some shopping in the Unearthen E shop, and I recommend you do the same. Unearthen has some of the best packaging I've ever seen- it is such a treat!
